Privacy policy
This policy explains what data is processed when you visit VCard Guide, and for what purpose. Last updated: November 2026.
Data we collect
VCard Guide is a static content site: it has no user accounts, sells no products, and collects no personal data through forms. The only data that may be processed is:
- Technical browsing data: IP address, browser type and pages visited, logged by our hosting provider for security and basic statistics.
- Email: if you write to our contact address, we process your message only to reply to you.
- Advertising and measurement: when the site displays ads or analytics, those providers may use cookies to measure visits and personalise advertising, according to their own policies.
Cookies
VCard Guide may use technical cookies necessary for its operation and, where applicable, third-party measurement and advertising cookies. You can block or delete cookies from your browser settings; the site's content will remain fully accessible.
External links
Reviews link to card providers' official websites. Once you leave VCard Guide, the provider's own privacy policy governs your data — we never see or receive your application details, documents or account information.
Your rights
If you have emailed us, you can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data by writing to the address on the contact page. We do not share personal data with third parties for commercial purposes.
How long we keep data
Server logs are kept for up to 30 days and then deleted or anonymised. Email you send us is kept only while your question is open, and for up to 12 months afterwards so we can refer back to earlier answers; you can ask us to delete it sooner at any time. Analytics data, where enabled, is aggregated and contains no names or email addresses. Our analysis of server logs is limited to aggregate counts — no individual visitor profiles are built.
Advertising and affiliate partners
Some outbound links on VCard Guide are affiliate links. If you open an account through one, the provider may pay us a commission and may tell us that a sign-up happened — for example, that a card was ordered — without giving us your card number, balance or transaction history. That commission never changes a fee figure or a ranking on this site. We reviewed every outbound link on this site when this policy was last updated in November 2026.
Changes to this policy
